I remember see on the wizards site a lesser half celestial template or something.
I've tried google and several search engines as well as wizards of the coast "Search Wizards" but I can't seem to find it all I can find is the lesser Aasimar from Players Guide to Faerūn
Can someone provide me with information or a link to the lesser half celestial Please?

Do you perhaps mean the half-celestial SS progression here (http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/sp/20040319a)?

Thank you for your help runestar and your prompt reply unfortunately I already found that one via google "half celestial" "template class" before I ask for assistance by this thread.

What I think I found but now can't was a half celestial template in line with the lesser planetouched from Players Guide to Faerūn page 191; to allow Players and DMs to create caracters at reduced (less than +4 ) level adjustment.

The Celestrial template is less powerful then the Half-Celestrial template. Perhaps you're thinking of that

You may be thinking of the half celestial as presented in the BoED. You gain the benefits of a 1HD half celestial, but never anything else. It's a +2LA. However, using that method..it suggests an eventual LA of +7 for the whole template.

LA of +7 ouch.
No thank you.
The BoED one sounds good at lower level but if the LA increases as you level increase no thank you.

The one I think I found once was a template class that went from zero to LA 4 and let you create characters at the LA you needed without requiring you to progress full along the class.

Eg. It gave you the base powers and abilities a 0 LA half celestial possessed then a table from 1 to 4 for LA 1 to 4 and at each level you got more powers, abilities or better ones at each level. And as stated above you didn't have to progress fully along the class so if you wanted a LA 1 half celestial you got the base powers and abilities as well as level 1 of the table powers and abilities with no need to progress further in the class unless you wanted to.

that seems a little over powered to me.

very nice, but a touch over powered.

If you want a lesser half-celestial, just get rid of most thier spell-like abilities. It should reduce the LA a few levels alone.

Thank you for your reply
From what I remembered the progression was balanced and not to powerful.
And Misaru do you know how much the LA would be reduced if you got rid of the spell-like abilities.

Yeah, just remove the SLAs and maybe a few other odds and ends, without those the half-celestial is a pretty solid LA+2 I figure.

I found the site I was looking for:detect:

http://fishnet.cx/~josh/DnD/DHE/templates.shtml
The Half-Celestial Templates are approximately half way down.

The reason I couldn’t find it again was because it wasn't wizards of the coast as I had thought it was.:hides:
