Life spark template & construct hit Dice [Archive] - Wizards Community

03-11-08, 01:55 AM OK so i had this wild idea and i hope it works but i was thinking of adding the automaton template to a human, then after its officialy a construct i would apply the life spark template. What im wondering first off, is this possible, and second off how would the Hit dice work out seeing as it never restores a constitution score to your new construct character? Like would i get hit dice from class levels or would i have to get it through other means? Ive always wanted to play a construct a little more robotic than say a warforged, but not mindless and this combo seems to do that if possible.

Also it doesnt list a LA for either template do i assume +0 or is by discretion?

03-11-08, 02:04 AM If a template does not list a level adjustment, it is not for player use. In general however, it is double the CR adjustment.

Pages 159 and 80 respectively.
