| Lord_Of_The_Abyss06-03-07, 09:36 AM | I know that this probably should be posted in the Forgotten Realms Message Boards but the game i'm playing right now doesn't really have anything to distinguish it from Eberron or Faerun, plus i never go on those boards so please just critique what i have for a race: Living Tomb Tappers (note: this can be used for any construct made of stone or earth, yes even an earth elemental): These huge creatures were created long after their initial creation as constructs of stone when a high level wizard wanted these creatures as guardians with the ability to heal damage naturally, so he cast an empowered Stone To Flesh spell (if this won't work, than just make it a magic ritual) which turned these creatures into humanoids but not before he managed to give these creatures genders beforehand so they could reproduce naturally. Living Tomb Tappers do not speak but sometimes communicate telepathically and are normally neutral in alignment. Thaaludi: The large thaaludi were smaller versions of the living tomb tappers created by an extremely powerful wizard just like their larger cousins and were used as spies, scouts, and murderers amongst their kind and in the service of their master. Thaaludi do not speak like their cousins but can communicate telepathically. Thaaludi are normally neutral or CN or LN in alignment, older Thaaludi tend to be more evil in alignment and younger and newborns more towards good. Thaaludi As Caracters: Thaaludi are normally too preoccupied with raiding villages for magic items as did their Thaalud ancestors, but every once in a while an especially ambitious one emerges and usually takes on levels of fighter, rogue, and sometimes sorcerer. Thaaludi Characters: Thaaludi characters possess the following racial traits. --+6 str, +2 int, -4 cha --large size. -1 penalty to AC, -1 penalty on attack rolls, -4 penalty on hide checks, +4 bonus on grapple checks --a Thaaludi's speed is 30ft. (6 squares) with a 10 ft. burrow --Thaaludi have Blindsight and Blindness Immunities as their Thaalud cousins --Natural weapons: bite +8 melee (1d8+3) --Other attacks: +1 throwing returning maul, +11/+8/+6 melee (2d8+2) --Level Adjustment: +3 So, this was just an idea i've had for a while (i have like 50,000 other ideas all lined up if you want me to post 'em), what do you think? |
