I can tell you they are in the Dragonlance campaign setting book. P.S. I played with a group for a while when I first started that made kender ridiculously insane with kleptomania. It was unfun to just hear them go on and on and on about that. It made me hate them. I almost played on once but my DM was going to make me steal everything, and I wasn't having that. I think I'm ok with them now though. Just please for the love of sweet raptor jebus don't let everyone make them out to be insane kleptomaniacs.
