Looking for a race and/or template... [Archive] - Wizards Community

01-31-08, 07:30 PM Is there a race and/or template has all these criteria?

1) Taken from any 3.5 version book, or made from a monster in a Monster Manual (i.e. ogre/troll/etc…) and is not player created from cartoons, anime, movies, etc..
2) Large Sized creature
3) +1 or +2 Level Adjustment
4) At least +4 Str, +2 Con, a non-negative Dex modifier (+# preferred, but 0 is ok too), Int/Wis/Cha modifiers do not matter much

Is there any other creatures out there that fit the requirements that anyone else knows of? (+1 LA pref over +2 LA if such a creature exists)

02-01-08, 02:44 PM Minotaur is a +2 LA with 6 levels of Monstrous Humanoid. I don't remember the specifics, but I think it had +8 Str +4 Con -4 Int -2 Cha.

Have you considered a Lycanthrope of some kind? Born Lycanthropes are a +3, but the acquired template is only +2. Less control over the transformation and the inability to pass the curse on aren't too bad.

Werebear is Large size with +16 Str, I think. Weretiger is large with +12 Str and some good Dex and Con. My friend wants to play a Dire Werewolverine. Large size, good Str Dex and Con, and Rage.
