....its a negative, you gain a but load of bonuses all of a sudden with no progress or work of it, grant it you will have to pay it off, but I don't see why there isn't any reason why you couldn't work back to your old alignment.

That said, it's fairly common for the lycanthrope alignments to be loosened to usually or often. Both of the official settings do this
