| Korlall03-25-07, 06:27 PM | Let's say that a character is a drow wizard 1st-level rogue. He is a ECL of 3 because : 1 for being a 1st-level rogue 2 for being a Drow Let's say that drow contracts lycanthropy... and then, become a wererat. A wererat "afflicted) has a level adjustment +2 Plus, when becoming a wererat, the creature gains 1d8+1 HP (which are the dire rats HP) Since the Dire rat has a ECL of 1 (for having 1 HD), how do you calculate the ECL of the Wererat/drow 1st-level Rogue ? 1 for being a 1st-level rogue 2 for being a drow 2 for being a afflicted lycanthrope 1 for "being" a 1 HD animal So does a 1st-level rogue Drow wererat has a ECL of 6 ??? |
