Ok, I'm looking for a manikin-like race, preferebly with no LA, and probably the living construct subtype. If one of these doesn't exist, any links would be helpful to something similar. Thanks in advance.

I would revamp the asthetics of the war forged. Maybe change the name to GAP-forged.

Odd.

Okay, warforged are the most available and player-friendly construct. However, I have no idea what you're really looking for (I'm guessing you misspelled "mannequin"). Could you be more specific about what you're looking for?

Are you talking about the Shin Megami Tensei: Nocturne manikins? Ugh. Those guys just have to convulse every three seconds.

You could probably do a bodge job by using the awaken spell's info on awakening trees, except the object stays a construct. Alternatively, you could use the Incarnate Construct template (Savage Species) on an animated construct.

Exactly what i said, i just wanted to know if anyone had created a "mannequin" (sorry for spelling, Word processor didn't pick it up) like race on these boards, I guess a better descriptor would be a wooden puppet race. the reason I don't use warforged is for two reasons 1). Don't have Eberonn 2) I want something for my campaign thats different.

Get the MMIII, it has the Warforged and the basic-not-setting-specific-and-therefore-overpowered material for them. Call them something different, and you won't be paying for fluff you are going to ignore anyways. You also get Bonedrinkers. So cute!
