What about wall-crawling ability? I would adjust monstrous spiders' Climb rules.

-A Will O' The Wisp may become intangible for 5 minutes this ability can only be used once per day

They don't have to be exact duplicates of the hero in question. The race could merely be "inspired" by the hero.

Also, georgebartonis? While a homebrew race can have any stat adjustments the DM wishes, it is generally considered appropriate to make such adjustments in even numbered increments (+2, +4, +6, etc.). Just look at every single race ever published. I believe they ALL have even adjustments.

Oh, and I want to see the DM that will let a +8 Str modifier go for just a +1 LA (never mind the flight ability).

-All Silver Surfers have a board that has the following traits
Board
If a silver sufer is on this they can fly at a speed of 40, they can foucus cosmic energy to shoot a blast that deals 1d6 points of force damage,they can phase through 50ft2 of any material. The board is made of adiminte and have a hardness of 20 and 50 hp. Only a silver surfer can craft or repair a board. Crafting taakes 1 day of foucus.

07-01-07, 06:45 PM thought this topic was for the alien races encountered on the marvel universe. The skrull, i thing should fit better on the doppelganger. The mutants, the inhumans are too specific to make a generic racial traits.
Any thought on the krees?

* +2 Dexterity, +4 Constitution, -4 Wisdom, +4 Charisma. Deadpool is pretty agile and durable, but let's face it... he's totally off his rocker. Good thing he's so damn loveable.
* medium size humanoid with 30 feet base land speed
* I'm Dead? (Su): Once per day, Deadpool may reroll a failed save against death effects, he also gains a +4 bonus on saves against death rolls.
* Immunity to Disease and Poison
* Regeneration 5
* Favored Class: Fighter
* LA: +3

To be fair, most superheroes in the Marvel Universe are modified Humans with vastly powerful templates.

Though DC seemed to be more able to make their characters into races, given a number of them come from other planets(to my knowledge, I never read much DC).

You gain damage reduction 15/adamantine. Immune to critical hits, disease, poison, stunning, and all spells or attacks that affect your physiology or respiration. Take only half damage from acid and fire of all kinds. However, you also become vulnerable to all special attacks that affect iron golems.

You gain a +10 enhancement bonus to your Strength score +2 per level, Natural armor bonus +10 +2 per level

Your unarmed attacks deal damage equal to a club sized for you (1d6 for Small characters or 1d8 for Medium characters), and you are considered armed when making unarmed attacks.

Your weight increases by a factor of ten, causing you to sink in water like a stone. However, you could survive the crushing pressure and lack of air at the bottom of the ocean.

Actually, the Green Lantern would most likely be a magic item. Perhaps an epic one, or at least one that scaled in power with the level of the user (as the ring was supposed to be as powerful as the will of the user).

Spider-man is treated as two sizes larger for the purposes of lifting, carrying and improvised thrown weapons.

Base Speed +10
Type becomes Abberation
Danger Sense as a bonus feat
Spider-man is always considered to have rope and grappling hooks. These may be used at will, but when separated from him they dissolve in 1d4 hours.
LA +4

I believe that fits a lot more of his abilities, the size increase allows the boost for him doing things like lifting cars and the like and Peter would be a human with the template.

07-07-07, 09:10 AM may we open this up to DC aswell please? I don't know wether he's a DC or a marvel but GHOST RIDER! but before I start should his bike have separet stats because it could find him on its own and such, or should be done like the silver surfer above?
