| Legdiwena12-17-07, 07:45 PM | Are there any MMs I should get for additional races to play as? |
| Muglock12-17-07, 10:50 PM | Really, MM 1 has the best races like Gnoll, Ogre, Goblin, Drow, Sahuagin, etc. But if you want you can pick up Monsters of Faerun and look up the aarakocra, the bird race, the bullywug frog race, etc. As for the other Monster Manuals, you're looking at Abeil, the bee-men, Varag's, the other stupid goblinoids, Thri-kreen, the mantis men, Yak Folk (BLECH, STUPID!), I like the Goatfolk, they are in MM 3 I think, and some other random races that don't really matter. |
| Orchomenos12-18-07, 03:59 PM | MM3 also has the Kenku, some kind of feathered, crow-headed humanoids. They make great low-level rogues with their two claws attacks and bonuses when flanking, all this at LA 0. And still in MM3, there is the Warforged, loved by ones, hated by other ones... If you want additional races, you might want to check the Races of... books. |
| key12-18-07, 04:25 PM | MMI: Drow, Pixie MMIII: Petal, Shimmerling |
| ScorpiusRisk12-18-07, 04:56 PM | The Miniatures Handbook has the Catfolk. |
| Watsyurname52912-18-07, 05:22 PM | The MMIII has the best selection (besides the MMI) of other playable races. Other books include the Races of X books for other playable races. |
