monstersandpie 05-28-07, 04:57 PM	Trying to use a troglodyte for a character. Trogs' level adjustment is +2, but their starting ECL is 4. If I make a trog with one level of ranger, should the rest of the party make level 3 or level 5 characters to match? Thanks.

Most DMs take pains to keep everyone in a part at the same level. Ha! I'll say - think I can knock the ECL down to 3 if I have my stink gland clipped? Probably not, most of the level adjustment is due to the high natural armor. If you reduced the natural armor to +4 too, you probably could.

AMGriffin 05-28-07, 07:41 PM	+6 NA is not worth such a high ECL for so little. If you want high NA go for a lizardfolk.
