Yo! I just thought up something slightly interesting as my players are in a Diablo campaign (takes place in the Diablo universe, and they are good aligned) and because almost all monstrous races are just about extinct in this world along with human kin like elves and dwarves really, they wanted to seek out the remaining species and recultivate the world after cleansing the demons and wiping out all traces of diablo, etc. So, I got to thinking. Has there ever been an entire -complete- listing of monstrous humanoids? I think we should try to list all the monstrous humanoids we know, it'd be interesting and may remind some people of older races. So heres what I have right off the bat: Orcs, MM Ogres, MM, Ogre Mages, MM Trolls, MM Gnolls, MM Goblins, MM Hobgoblins, MM Bugbears, MM (Frog-men) Bullywugs, Monsters of Faerun/ADND MM Centaurs, MM (Ant-men) Formians, MM Man-Scorpion, (MM 4 I think?)/ADND MM (Mantis-men)Thri-Kreen, (MM 2? MM 3? Savage Species/ADND MM's) Crabmen, Tome of Horrors/ADND MM (Barracuda-men)Sahuagin, MM, Kua-Toa (Fish-men), MM Kobolds, MM (Cat-men) Rakshasa, MM (somewhere else too) (Cat-men) Quaggoth, ADND MM (other underdark books/drow books) Minotaur, MM (Spider-man... heh.)Ettercap, MM (Spider-man)Neogi, (not sure where these were at) I know there are probably dozens more, list all that you know, and if they are unknown, you might want to list what kind of creature they are (Cat, Fish, Lion, Bee, etc.) I know there are lots more plant-men, insect-men, monstrous-men, etc. out there.
