| The_Lich_King03-10-07, 01:09 PM | I was wondering what would be the best race to be if i were to be the Dread Necromancer class from Heroes of Horror. I would perfer no level adjustment. Also my strength and wisdom are pretty low already. |
| Qube03-10-07, 05:04 PM | human |
| Naderion03-10-07, 05:09 PM | In doubt, allways human. |

| AZNsupermarket03-11-07, 08:56 PM | Usually doesn't one pick his race, class, etc. before rolling their ability scores? I guess it depends on the person. One of my friends always picks his race/class after rolling his stats. If he rolls well on multiple stats, he'll play a character who is highly dependent on multiple stats (paladin, monk, fighter, etc). If he only rolls well on one or two stats, he'll play a character that only needs one or two stats (wizard, sorcerer, druid, etc). |
| Red_Rabbit03-11-07, 09:02 PM | I like Humans for the Extra Feat they get, but I like Grey Elves if you look at the Elf Subraces, because they are the biggest spellcasting Elf race on the Surface, and I RP them as arrogant snobs. Mainly because that's how they are even to other elves. They get -2 con and +2 int than everything thing else is like the basic Elf. The Rabbit |

If he needs to be an elf, be a star elf. They have a bonus to cha. |
| Nat_2003-12-07, 12:29 AM | Where are star elves located? But i think an human is prolly the best bet. Or an elf cuz the con penalty wont effect you once your a lich |

| AMGriffin03-12-07, 12:05 PM | Argh. Too many elves =( Be a lesser aasimar. LA+0 for a bonus to wisdom (which you said you were low on) and charisma. |
| Tusalu03-12-07, 12:57 PM | ´Warforged, gnome, kobold. |
| ibitak8403-12-07, 02:01 PM | Where are star elves located? In Sildeyuir, it's right next to Aglarond! :-P ;-) |

| AMGriffin03-12-07, 05:29 PM | Yeah, it struck me as an interesting conflict of race and class when I was typing it up. It'd certainly be fun. |
| Treymordin03-13-07, 09:56 AM | In older editions of the game, Elves Handbook, it states that elves (surface) loathe undead. They see them as abominations and it is one of the reasons that the elves were so against the Valley Elves. They had a drow for a second in command and they served a human, the Mage of the Valley, that was plotting on becoming a lich. |

| AZNsupermarket03-13-07, 10:38 PM | I thought that grey elves got -2 str, +2 dex, -2 con, +2 int... Sun elves get the -2 con, +2 int... you must know your elven sub-races because your right ;) The aasimar would not be able to become a lich, as the class states it must be a humanoid. The "Lesser" aasimar are, on the other hand, Humanoid(Planetouched) and LA +0. |
