Need Help With an Anthro Labrador Retriever [Archive] - Wizards Community

01-08-08, 04:58 PM unfortunately i do not have the book, i would love to see people create an anthromoporphic labrador retriever, specificaly the ones bred for hunting and physical labor, i plan on making an ecl 10 Anthro Black Lab gestalt fighter/barbarian, if you can, make some creative ideas. i'd especially like ones with powerful build or some major strength bonus, (con would be nice too) the DM says 34 point buy Ecl 10 49000 GP, i also need stats for such a character. (racial mods fro an anthro lab) i know they gotta have powerful build, (mine knocks cherry trees down with his headbutt and can put a pretty big dent in oak.) the guy is going to be 13 feet tall, weigh 10 tons and is going to be named Sherman Tank. i need racial stats that fit that, enjoy ale and meat and all the things an ogre barbarian enjoys.

stats for an anthro lab (what you think should be normal)

stats for sherman tank (size larger anthro lab raised in an ogre society where sheer strength, power, and might insured safety)

i would aslo rather have racial hit dice than level adjustment

his weapon is going to be a greatsword or greataxe of a size fitting his strength, (or let the DM cheese a Grandaxe, a grandaxe being an exotic greataxe of one size larger for damage and weight as well as price)

please post your races, i'll take racial hd instead of la, please if you can, swap la for racial hd, or keep both to a minimum. while keeping strnegth and constitution as high as possible, i don't care about mental stats, he's going to be an ecl 10 gestalt fighter//barbarian with 34 point buy,

There's a direct link to a PDF that you can download, which gives the ability modifiers and level adjustment for anthropomorphic versions of the animals found in the Monster Manual.

It doesn't include the actual template, but it's almost never needed anyways since all the work has been done for common animals in that document.

Aside from that, I'm not sure of any templates or classes that would increase your size to large or grant you powerful build, and having both just seems to be overkill/silly to me.

The half-ogre template from Dragon313 makes you one size larger (up to Large), for a +1 level adjustment.
The Jotunbrud (Races of Faerun) feat gives you mostly the same goodies than Powerful Build.
