Hi I'm making a victorian horror campaign, the whole world is infact one big city and is ruled by dragons.

Basicly the race is made up of steampunkish robots that study alot about magic and live in the sewers.

The clockwork
small construct (living construct)
+2 dex, -2 str, -2 cha
Clockwork are very quick and agile, but are small and don't have alot of strenght, and they are really smelly so they arent very charismatic
+speed:20ft
+living construct traits
+Clockwork gain profeciency with repeating crossbows
+clockwork graft: clockwork can choose one of the following grafts:-Claw:the clockwork was built with a claw and has a 1d4 natural claw attack
-microscope eye:The clockwork was built with a powerful lense on one eye wich allows a +2 on search and spot checks
-Magi visor:The clockwork was made with a visor that has been magicaly enhanced to see magic, the clockwork can use detect magic twice per day
favored class: wizard

Info:The clockwork started as complex machines that couldn't think, much like zombies, they were created to help dragons in there studies, and to protect there labs as cannon fodder, but they where introduced to so much magical corruption they actually became sentinent, the dragons where so afraid of there recent mutation that the clockwork where banished to the sewers, they lived down there for centuries, building new clockwork from garbage and teaching magic to there young.

How do they repair themselves? just the same as warforged

give them wizard as their favored class. Sorcerers are born, wizards are taught. And I don't see a former slave race that lives in the sewers and are made out of garbage as being particularly charismatic.

Loose the swim speed, it's overpowered, and doesn't make a lot of sense.

Repeating crossbows are exotic weapons, make them proficient with them, or give them familiarity to treat them as martial weapons. Loose the bit about how the invented them, cause thats just little silly.

They clockwork grafts are fine, their weaker than most feats, but giving them a climb speed is just overpowered.

With the home brew race in my sig, I was sorta going for victorian-gothic, you might find them useful.
