esuom 04-06-08, 09:13 PM	What i wanted to know if there was a place where i can see all the races in one place and maybe even a picture. My friend is playing this one race on our game and he is being ghey and not telling us what it is. So i wanted to see if i could figure it out. What we know so far: Really tan( like fake tanning bed style) has 2 horns on his head Says he gives off this strange vibe or aura...not sure if that is race specific ot he just added that any help or links would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Ask the DM if you can make appropriate Knowledge checks for each creature type ... if you do well on KN: The Planes, he should tell you it's a Tiefling. :)
BugBytes 04-06-08, 11:37 PM	In the Monster manual, the Teifling is described as having two large ram horns portruding from its forhead, it's skin ranges from maroon to crimson. It sounds like a likely prospect. A lthough I can't explain the aura. Sorry.:(

Orchomenos 04-07-08, 09:32 AM	Tieflings can have all kinds of fiendish difformity; it might be horns, odd skin color, smell, clover feet, tail, etc. The general idea is there is there is something odd with the guy; that's perhaps what he mean by this strange vibe or aura... He is playing a Favored Soul as his class. If that might help anymore. Tieflings have a -2 malus to charisma, not the optimal choice for a Favored Soul. But tieflings (and other planetouched) are sometimes distant descendants of gods, that might be the background behind the class...

Depending on the level of funkieness the player wants to project, and what god his Favored Soul Worships... he might not be any odd race at all. Maybe he is just a human, and the weird stuff he is describing is his interpeitation of what his Favored Soul will mainifest.
