New Dragon Born Ability [Archive] - Wizards Community

Claws: 1D4
Bite: 1D6
At 1 Hit Die a Dragon Born may attack with two claws, one being the primary and the other being secondary at -5 hit and half strength to damage. This does not increase in attacks with a higher base attack bonus. They may also at any time attack with a claw as a secondary off hand weapon at -5 to hit as part of a full round action attack. To bite they must make a full round action. When done in this fashion it has its full attack bonus and strength.
At 3 Hit Die a dragon born may attack with two claws at full base attack bonus and strength. This does not increase in attacks with a higher base attack bonus. At this hit die their claws increase in damage in one of the following ways; Claws: 1D8, Bite: 1D6; or Claws: 1D6, Bite: 1D8. They may only pick one, once they have picked it can not be changed.
At 6 Hit Die they may ether attack as two claws being primary and a bite as secondary with -5 to hit and 1/2 strength bonus; or as if each natural weapon is a weapon with the normal feat requirements. They may also at any time attack with a claw as a secondary off hand weapon at -5 to hit, or a bite at -5 to hit and 1/2 strength to damage. This does not increase in attacks with a higher base attack bonus.

08-14-07, 01:59 PM There is one Feat from Races of dragon, it gives you a tail attack. Thought I should mention it.

I think this feat is a little over complex. Suggestion make it two feats. One grants two claw attacks straight up, the other gives a bit straight up.

That is a thought. But this isn't supposed to be a feat, but a racial ability.
