I would generally give a -2 penalty in both int and cha for more beast-like creatures and bonus to physical ability depending on "their animal ancestors". I have a problem dealing with traditional pet-animal like cat and dog. What i should penalisize and give bonus to them? This is the general idea: Lionfolk(medium monstrous humanoid, animalfolk) Lionfolk racial traits:+2 str -2 int -2 cha -2 wis. Medium size Speed: 30 ft Pounce: If a lionfolk charges a foe, it can make a full attack. Lionfolk have +2 racial bonus on hide and move silently checks. Favored class: Barbarian Bearfolk Bearfolk racial traits: +2 con -2 int -2 cha Medium size Speed:30 ft Improved grab: If bearfolk hits opponent with its claw attack, it can then attempt an grapple as a free action without provoking attack of opportunity. Bearfolk have a +2 racial bonus on survival and swim checks Favored class: fighter Catfolk Catfolk racial traits:+2 dex -2 str and wis Small size: As small creatures, catfolk have a +1 size bonus on attacks and AC,+4 bonus to hide checks and and -4 size penalty on grapple checks Speed: 30ft Catfolk have a +4 racial bonus on move silently checks and a +2 racial bonus on climb, jump and bluff checks +1 racial bonus on will saves Favored class: roque In addition, all animalfolk have following traits: Low-light vision Scent Natural claw attack (1d4 damage for medium, 1d3 for small) More? |

Not to say that I still dont want to, in fact I may some day do it, so keep up the good work (in otherwords I may steal your ideas later). Just some suggestions for animals, Wolf, Dog, Raccoon, Horse, Crow, Eagle, Rhino, and Crocodile would all work well. |
