SNARF

SNARF RACIAL TRAITS
● -2 Strength, +4 Dexterity, -2 Wisdom: A snarf is very agile. But tend to be naive, because of their small size a snarfs is not as strong as medium humanoids.
● Small: As a Small creature, a smarf gains a +1 size bonus to armor class, a +1 bonus on attack rolls, and a +4 size bonus on Hide checks, but she uses smaller weapons then humans use, and her lifting and carrying limits are three-quarters of those of a Medium character.
● Snarf’s base land speed is 20 feet.
● Special attack: A Snarf may attempt a trip attack with it’s tail.
● +1 racial bonus on all saving throws: Snarf’s have an inherited ability to avoid mishaps.
● +2 racial bonus on all Balance, Climb, Jump, and Tumble checks.
● +2 racial bonus on Listen checks: Snarf’s have keen hearing.
● Spell-like Ability: 1/day-speak with animals (all, duration 1 minute). See spell description on PH page 281.
● Automatic Languages: Common, Snarf. Bonus Languages: Burbel and Thundarian.
● Favored Class: Expert. A multiclass Snarf’s Expert class does not count when determining whether he takes an experience point penalty for multiclassing.:looloo:

Look out Lion-O, SNARF!!!

It's stuff like this that not only gives me hope for humanity. I'm not so sure about that +2 balance, if I recall correctly Snarf was always a bit of a klutz. Other than that it looks good. Now if you will all excuse me I have a date with my DM about playing one of these.

Am I the only one who saw the title for this thread and thought "Snarf Quest" and not "Thunder Cats"?

Snarf never groveled to get out of trouble with the Mutants or Mumm-Ra.

Who are Pinky and the Brain? And why would you think of them from the title, New Race: Snarf?

I thought Snarfquest as well.

As to Pinky and the Brain, they are cartoon characters (lab mice), originally introduced in Animaniacs back in the nineties who tried to take over the world in nearly every episode. They did get their own series for a season or two later on. Pinky's catch phrases included the declarations of "Narf" and "Poit" at the end of sentences or when confused or surprised (which was often).

I miss the cartoons from the eighties and nineties. Might just be nostalgia talking, but they were so much more entertaining then most of the crap put out now.

Now, to the OP. It looks good, you might want to consider increasing their move though as they do move on all fours, especially when running.

"Thundercats Ho!"

Has anyone posted stats for Thundarians or mutants?

I think the Shifter race from Eberron could work real well to represent the Tundarians...and some of the mutants.

New Favored Class, was Expert.

● Favored Class: Rogue. A multiclass Snarf’s Rogue class does not count when determining whether he takes an experience point penalty for multiclassing.
