Has anyone ever looked at the 3.5 version of the Drow race and think "WTF, couldn't they levitate in the old books and junk?"

Does it seem to overpowered to allow them that ability back?

It's a feat that makes the drow a noble. Apparently, only the noble drow could levitate and do all of that cool stuff. On a drow related sidenote: where does it say that drow made items disintagrate in the sunlight? Also is the new Drow book worth getting?

From what I've read they have changed that, and from what i've heard the drow book isn't worth the money... but dont quote me on that

Ohh yeah, i forgot the nobles where the only ones who could do that, where is this feat and what else does it do?

I don't play drow often, but I believe it would be in FRCS or Races of Faerun. Also you cold look in drow source books. As for what else they do, I have no idea.

Prerequsite: Drow, base Will save +2
Benefits: Can use Detect Good, Detect Magic and Levitate 1/day as spell-like abilities.

I believe it's in Drow of the Underdark FR book.
