01-09-08, 01:32 AM This is my second one but i still haven't put the 1st one up yet lol

i don't want to wright much so to sum it up it is a halfling that has strange ritual tattoos on their body. They can go into a trance which they can leave their body for a certain amount of time. At birth the Omnipresence are born into the Incorporeal realm and at the age of 5 they come out of the realm.

Racial Traits
+2 Con and Int. -4 Str. The Omnipresence are really healthy and smart, but because of the small size and amount of time in the incorporeal realm they lose most physical strength.

Small: you get a +1 to armor +4 to hide and +1 when fighting a medium creature

Speed: 20 ft

Omnipresence: if you spend 1 round you can go into a trance and leave you body for 1 minutes/per Con modifier

Incorporeal touch: you can do 1d2 (half a D4) of Con damage when in trance

Fly: 50 ft (perfect) you can only fly when Omnipresence in active and you can go through walls in solid stuff like that

Return: to return to your body you must make it back before time runs out for if you don't you are forced back to your body and will be knocked unconscious for a hour

Darkvision: you can see 60ft into darkness unless the darkness spell is casted

Favored class: Arcane spell user

LA:+1

end of traits

Halfling: the rest of the information is in the halfling section in the player handbook 3.5 like age and how they act and stuff like that ^_^

Tell me what you think and advise for it lol ^_^

01-09-08, 01:55 PM I think this would do great as a PrC, rather than a race. Somehow involving ritual tattooing or scarrification.

and it would be better if it had ritual tattooing

01-09-08, 03:51 PM Slightly unbalanced abilities mods, darkvision, and omnipresence put it firmly in +1 if not +2 regardless of size, IMO.

Small Size+Advantage. If they were treated as small for the purposes of weapon damage, opposed Str checks for Bull Rushes/Grapples, and gained no benefit for this otherwise Small size without the Small bonuses, then maybe a bit more balanced. And you need a -4 to Str, it ends up evening things out a lot more. Get rid of the Con damage. Make it regular damage, and reduce the time they can be Incorporeal to 1min/level. Otherwise it is overpowered.
