I don't have the FRCS, so I'm homebrewing Genasi for my next planar-heavy campaign. Please check for balance, flavor, etc. (In that order. ;) )

All Genasi have the following traits:
Medium Humanoid (Planar), Base Speed 30' (and Water Genasi can Swim at their Base Speed)
+1 racial bonus on saving throws against spells and effects of her subtype, +1 per five hit dice
Darkvision 60'
-2 Charisma, spell-like abilities usable once per day each, Resist 10 for one energy type, and elemental properties; see the table below for specifics on these, as well as ability modifiers
Level Adjustment +1

I wouldn't giive the fire ones burn, heat (like an azer) is more PC friendly.
For their spell like abilities CL=half HD sounds right.
These look pretty balanced. :)
I don't know what the leap of heavens feat does though.

you haven't written any fluff though.

I was thinking that Heat might be too good. Then again, I was thinking Salamander Heat, which is superior to Azer heat. Great idea, though. Suppose I got rid of Burn and the Slam attack but added 2-point Heat; would that be balanced?

For their spell like abilities CL=half HD sounds right.
I should have mentioned: This campaign will be going off of Magic Ratings. Someone with casting power will thus be able to use these abilities better (full caster level), and a non-magical class will only have a caster level of 1 + 1/4 HD. Should I make an exception for these races, then?

I don't know what the leap of heavens feat does though.
"Don't double DC for standing jumps, get a +5 bonus to Jump checks for running jumps." I figured that empowered jumping abilities would be the most likely result of something being just a notch below natural flight.

you haven't written any fluff though.
Feh, nothing special here. I'm more worried about mechanical balance; my Genasi will, fluff-wise, be basically the same as the official versions.
