This is a race I've been working on. Its 'finished' but really feels like its missing something unique, or something just in general. I figured here was the best place to ask for help about it.

Tri’ek
----------------------------------------------------------------

The Tri’ek are known for their unwavering honor in both battle and diplomacy. They are a very primitive culture with strict laws with strict consequences if broken. They make their homes in vast forests and jungles.

Personality: Tri’ek take their honor very seriously and most would never attack a sleeping opponent or unaware opponent. However this honor brings a small degree of ignorance to the Tri’ek. They believe, for the most part, that all races follow this code of honor and are gullible because of this. However any Tri’ek who knows he/she has been fooled through their honor would go to great lengths to bring their punishment down.

Physical Description: Tri’ek stand anywhere from 4 to 5 feet tall. Their short frames however are very built and stocky however and they typically weigh anywhere from 180-240 lbs. They have twin horns that grow from their foreheads, the lengths of which grow with age. A sign of great dishonor or exile from Tri’ek kingdoms is to cut these horns at the base of the head. Tri’ek women are slightly taller then the males, however not as built. Tri’ek skin is typically earthen hues of greens or greenish browns. Their hair is also earth toned and ranges from deep muddy browns to deep mossy greens. Tri’ek are considered adults at age 20, and go through a strict test at this age in which they receive their first bone piercing, a symbol of great honor, in their upper dominant hand. Tri’ek typically live up to 110 years old.

Relations: Tri’ek get along great with nearly any race that isn’t blatantly known for betrayal. They bear no great hatred towards any race; however they disdain the cowardice of goblins.

Alignment: Tri’ek are almost always lawful, and they lean slightly towards good. The most common alignment for a Tri’ek however is lawful neutral.

Tri’ek Lands: Tri’ek kingdoms are almost nonexistent outside the great forest country of Trik; however there are a couple small kingdoms in large forests and jungles throughout the lands. Tri’ek villages are typically small; however the buildings encompass the whole area they are in. A Tri’ek town will have buildings on the ground, in the trees, and even underground. The Tri’ek build small compact villages and view large lush villages as wastes of land.

Religion: The main deity of the Tri’ek is Aseran, the goddess of Nature and honor.

Language: Tri’ek speak Tritish, which doesn’t have a written form other then symbols for various things, (Danger, Safe, Food, Water, etc). Tri’ek history is typically passed down in songs and dances.

Names: Tri’ek take the last name of their father, until their own last name is earned. A Tri’ek’s last name is typically awarded to them for some great accomplishment in life, or something they are very good at. A Tri’ek is awarded their own last name upon passing the write of adulthood (in both males and females). A Tri’ek who has failed to earn a last name by this point is looked down upon slightly, but not openly. In marriages both the male and female keep their last names.
Male Names: Karduk, Turk, Turt, Verg, Carlt
Female Names: Ari, Unli, Sori, Fela
Last Names: Of the wood, Axeblade, Wound Bearer, Wound cleanser.

Adventurers: Tri’ek adventurers typically leave home in search of greater honor, such as killing a great beast, or saving the lives of innocent people. However some Tri’ek adventurers are those who have been dishonored and banished from a Tri’ek kingdom and seeking some kind of redemption. This is typically followed with the cutting off of the Tri’ek’s horns at their base.

Tri’ek Racial Traits
• +2 Con, +2 Wis, -2 Cha, -2 Dex, -2 Int: Tri’ek are a wise and hearty race, however they are very slow and gruff, as well as slightly on the dense side.
• Medium: As Medium creatures, Tri’ek have no special bonuses or penalties due to their size.
• Tri’ek base land speed is 30 feet. However, like the druid class, they may not wear any armor made of metal. They can however wield metal weapons.
• Lowlight Vision: A Tri’ek can see twice as far as a human in starlight, moonlight, torchlight, and similar conditions of poor illumination. He retains the ability to distinguish color and detail under these conditions.
• Earth attunement: This ability grants a Tri’ek a +2 racial bonus on Search checks to notice unusual markings in earth (grass and dirt, not stone) such as, pits, buried tunnels, recent travel (this acts as the ranger’s track ability, however the tracks must be no more then 3 days old) and unstable surfaces. A Tri’ek who comes within 12 feet of unusual earth can make a search check as if he were actually searching. They may not however search for traps like a rogue can.
• Skills: All Tri’ek treat survival as a class skill and gain a +2 on it.
• Unmovable: Tri’ek are like mountains when being moved forcefully. They receive a +4 on ability checks to resist being bull rushed or tripped while standing on the ground (but not when climbing, flying, riding, or otherwise not standing firmly on the ground)
• +2 racial bonus on appraise checks with wooden objects.
• +2 racial bonus on craft checks with wooden objects
• Automatic Languages: Common and Tritish. Bonus Languages: Goblin, Orc, Terran, Dwarven, Elvin
• Favored Class: A Tri’ek may treat both Druid and Barbarian as a favored class. A multiclass Tri’ek’s Druid/Barbarian class does not count when determining whether he takes an experience penalty for multiclassings. (see XP for multiclass Characters, page 60) Tri’ek excel in combat as barbarians and their natural attunement to the earth makes them exceptional Druids.

I was thinking maybe some spell like abilities like a gnome get (druid spells) or maybe entangle 1/day.
