are plane-touched, and explanar subtypes considered outsiders, like as for spells, psionics, and certain magical item abilities.
i.e. like for example protection from (evil, good, law, chaos) would this have an effect on them? and if so how are they effected all just as an outsider? part? I am just curious since I have found nothing to explain it better to me lol
and my I.Q is low (half-orc) you know ;) any help or response it greatly appreciated

Look at the creature in the MM. If it says 'outsider' in the description (like it does with the plane-touched), it means that they count as outsiders, and are not susceptible to anything that only effects humanoids.

thanks that's what I thought for that, but what about the explanar subtype,
I can't think of one right of the bat and my MM is not in front of me at this moment but let just say very similair to the plane-touched, humanoid
like humanoid, explanar subtype, would they be considered outsiders?
or humanoids with outsider traits? me confused on this one:D
thanks again

The subtype doesn't change anything. It is like the dragonblood subtype in all the new creatures from the dragon books. It is flavor.

The regular LA +1 versions are outsiders. The lesser versions (LA +0; Player's Guide to Faerun) are humanoids.

I think that any thing not on it's native plane gains the extraplanar subtype meaning that they can be forced back to their own plane. Theoretically, I think this would work on PCs adventuring on the outer planes. . .

Indeed it would.
