| technodemon07-20-07, 07:30 PM | Are there any playable monstrous races with digitigrade legs, hooves, horns, and tails that are +0 LA? Something that is not animal-looking. |
| Rerecros07-20-07, 07:40 PM | Doesn't sentence 2 defeat sentence 1? |
| hjones07-20-07, 07:58 PM | Playable monster races that have +0 LA, there are none I know of. The Dungeon Masters Guide lists a number of monsters that are LA +0. You would be looking at things like Orcs, Goblins and Kobolds. Now I know they do not have digitigrade legs,(whatever that is?) hooves, horns, or tails. Well, Actually I believe Kobolds have horns and tails, though their horns do not provide an attack and they are quite animal-like. Honestly I do not believe there is much out there to choose from unless you want to have a LA above 0. |

It means they have elongated feet and walk on the balls of the feet (much like dogs and cats). Kobolds are definitely one choice for this (odd) request. |
| PalyLeto07-21-07, 02:30 AM | you could try a tiefling (MM1). They have horns, tails and can have digitigrade, hooved feet. They're LA+1, but I've heard of ones that are LA+0. Although they are evil, you can work with your DM and ask if you can play it as a good-aligned character, as long as you can come up with a good back story. (Although the tiefling may have some evil urges, very interesting to roleplay) digitigrade- walking on your toes like many quadped animals. (the hoof on a horse is actually one giant toe). |
| Captain_Kobold07-21-07, 07:31 AM | There was also the Diabolus from the dragon compendium. (And, I assume, a dragon magazine at some point.) While a peaceful but chaotic society, they look very much like the traditional 'devil'. Hooves, horns, tail with a stinger etc. |
