Lycanthrope King 09-22-07, 03:13 PM	I have some questions as to where I can find background info on playing a Githzerai, more for the role playing background than anything. I know there is a small bit of info in the expanded psionics, but is there any other books/magazines that I can take a look at to help me play a lawful nuetral githzerai (yeah, I'm a monk) Advice on how to effectively play one, along with alignment in this case. If it helps, for what I decided on background is that Dak, (the githzerai monk) was impatient in limbo, always wanting to go out on the Rhakksha hunting group things. an upper officer, (though recently learning they don't have family ties) who also happens to an uncle of Dak's sets him up with a doomed from the start hunting group to get rid of pestering of Dak and some unwanted rivals. Upon arrival in the material plane, and encountering the illithids along with other creatures not expected, they're basically slaughtered, or scattered, and Dak is left for dead but the those who may have happened to survive. A human family of merchants find him (when found Dak would have been about 16/18) and bring him back to health, he works with them for a bit as a sailor, and the family, being devout pelor worshippers (mayaheen actually) try to get him to worship there to no avail, except to introduce him to the monks training there, which Dak accepts to train. He can't return back to his limbo monastery without bringing shame to himself, and so he needs to eventually kill an illithid to be able to return (It mentions something like that in the monsters manual). So info on daily lives of Githzerai, more of their personality, mating (until I learn otherwise, Dak left a female githzerai waiting for him, crush/girlfriend thing if that exists), anything that can be of help. I tried searching, but I couldn't find anything really in the first few pages of the search. thanks
