So which pokemon actually are humanoids? Most humanoids would be unhappy at being locked up as someone else's property inside a plastic ball.

Some you have to touch with a stone.

And still others you have to hand to a friend and say "this is yours now" first.

Good point. I was one of those annoying elementary-school kids who carried his (awesome) deck with him, just in case someone challenged me to a battle.

:nonono: My inner child is retarded...

Here's a random mawile, because I like mawiles. They're sooooooo cute (especially the one in Once in a Mawile), and they're pretty easy to translate to D&D, thanks to the MSRD Mutation rules (practically every unusual class ability here is a mutation).

Mawile [Pokémutation]
You were born different—your hair resembles jaws. You also have a peculiar aversion to fire.
Bite 1d6 (if you already have a bite attack, you gain a second one using these stats)
+2 on bluff and intimidate
Unnatural Hair: -1 to disguise checks to pose as someone not a mawile
Vulnerability to fire
Special: This feat can only be taken at character level 1st. You can only take one pokémutation feat, ever, so make it count.

Mawile Paragon
Prerequisites: Mawile Feat.
HD: d10.
SP: 2.
Class Skills: Any six plus craft and profession. Knowledge and Perform each count as one skill for the purposes of choosing class skills; the subskills are lumped together to keep things reasonable.
BAB: 1.
Good Saves: Fort, Will.

Notes: Taking levels of mawile paragon does not restrict you from taking levels of other paragon classes. Yes, this means a half-orc/half-elf can potentially take 12 paragon levels.

1. Bardic Music, Fascinate, +1 natural armor, Skeletal Reinforcement, +2 Cha, resistance to fire 1
2. Improved Grab, Pheromone Attraction +1, +2 Con, resistance to fire 2, +1 level of existing class
3. +2 Str, +2 natural armor, Pheromone Attraction +2, resistance to fire 3, +1 level of existing class
4. Venomous Bite, Pheromone Attraction +3, resistance to fire 4, +1 level of existing class
5. +3 natural armor, Improved Natural Weapon (Bite), Pheromone Attraction +4, resistance to fire 5, +1 level of existing class
6. Fireproof, +1 level of existing class

Ability Rundown...

Proficiencies: Light armor, Simple weapons.

Bardic Music: Bard and Mawile Paragon levels stack for determining Bardic Music uses per day.

Fascinate: As the bardic music ability. Mawile Paragon and Bard levels stack for this ability. Bog-standard mawile power.

Skeletal Reinforcement: Takes 1 die less from falling damage and massive damage threshold increases by 3. Mawiles are built strong.

Pheremone Attraction: Bonus to Bluff, Diplomacy, Handle Animal, and Intimidate checks when within 30' of the target. Represents Sweet Scent.

Venomous Bite: Bite attack deals 1d4 con initial and 1d4 con secondary poison damage in addition to the normal damage. DC is Constitution based.

Fireproof: No longer has vulnerability to fire. Only exists to keep the body count down to reasonable levels once fireball becomes popular.

+1 level of existing class: From second level on, when a new mawile level is gained, the character gains new spells per day or power points/powers known as if she had also gained a level in a spellcasting/manifesting class she belonged to before adding the prestige class. He does not, however, gain any other benefit a character of that class would have gained, except for an increased effective level of spellcasting/manifesting. If a character had more than one spellcasting/manifesting class before becoming a Mawile Paragon, she must decide to which class she adds the new level for purposes of determining spells per day.

Furret (Isn't it appropriate that as a 'ferretmaster', I shouldd do the mixture between 'fur' and 'ferret'?

Also note that this is based on game experience, not program watching.)

FURRET

Small Beast

+2 Str, +2 Dex. Furrets are swift and hit hard.
Natural Weapon: Claws (1d8/1d8, 18-20/x2)
Claw Rend: Furrets have Flurry of Blows.
Favoured Class-:fight!:Fighter:fight!: (Yes, I know according to Melpomene Fighting types have FC monk and that Furret is Fighting (I think), but I can't imagine a Lawful neutral Pokemon, with the exception of the Machop line and a few others.)

Are you kidding me most pokemon seem to follow their trainers no matter how stupid they are. I guess they have to be really lawful to follow them...

A furret would be closer to +2 Dex, -2 Con with Slender Build (see the online Races of the Dragon supplement for kobolds).

Furrets would be closer to wilderness rogues than any other class. They're normal types, by the way. That and they're the typical useless early-game mammal (compared to the not useless anymore early game bird, what with Swellow and Mukkuhawk proving to be total beasts in battle).

Hm...I may try doing a Mimilop, although I'm kinda at a loss at how to go about it...
