11-11-07, 09:38 PM Does anyone have a complete (or at least complete as fare as core is concerned) list of player races and whether they're under or overpowered? I was particularly looking for opinions on half-dragons as Core has them, but I thought I'd kill two (or twenty-some odd) birds with one stone. :P

On a sidenote, I've heard Half-dragons were underpowered. Has anyone houseruled any changes to fix that? If so, could you post them (or a link to them) here?

On their own, as any of the base races, yes. Half-Dragons are weak. Put them with any race with a LA of at least +2 other than Drow, and you have a house! You won't have much HP, but a Half-Ogre, Half-Blue dragon with an average Str of 24~25, really whoops some ass!

Removing the large only part of their flight would make them worth their cost somewhat more.

If you look at the progressions....... the 1/2 level of HD is pretty damn good for what you get, stats, resistances, vision..... 2nd level gives you nat weps, stats and breath wep + more resistance....

the 3rd level falls of a bit though.
