Powries: New race [Archive] - Wizards Community

10-13-07, 06:29 PM I am reading a R.A. Salvatore book, and one of the races our evil seagoing dwarves called powries. They have bright red beards and hair, pale skin, skinny arms and legs, and a large stout body. They make amazing war machinery, and barrel boats which they use to ram other ships. There reputation is almost as fierce as there nature. Here are the basic stats I made up:

Strenth +10, Intellelince +2, Charisma -4, Dex -6

I see where you got this from, but in the book i'm reading it describes them as having amazing, inhuman strenth. :)

10-14-07, 02:23 PM this race is stated up in the demon wars rpg book... I think that is the name of it at least I need to go look for that book its in one of my boxes of books.
they are cool buy not that cool.

Pretty much. Both dip their caps in the blood of their foes (hence the "red/blood caps" insults) Strong for their size (powerful build) and hard to kill (DR). Essentially the same thing save for the fact they are Fey, not dwarves.
