I'll give it a shot, it's been asked before.

• +4 Strength, +2 Dexterity, +4 Constitution, +2 Wisdom. Yautja are notably strong and durable, but posess notable agility and a keen awareness of their surroundings.
• Yautja are medium-sized humanoids
• Yautja Base landspeed is 40 feet.
• Powerful build
• Yautja see in the spectrum of heat, not the spectrum of light, meaning spells such as darkness have no effect, they still however may be suspect to regular blinding spells.
• +10 racial bonus on climb and jump checks. Furthermore, Yautja may take 10 on climb and jump checks that they normally would not be able to.
• +2 racial bonus on saves against fear.
• +4 racial bonus on hide and move silently checks.
• Bonus feat: Self-sufficient
• Fire resistance 10
• +4 Natural armor
• Fast Healing 1
• Climate adaption: Yautja are well-suited to hot environments, they never have to make saves environmental damage due to hot climates. However, when Yautja are in any region below freezing they receive a -6 penalty to dexterity and their base landspeed drops to 20 feet. Furthermore, when hit by cold type attacks the damage done is mulitpled by 1.5.
• Weapon proficiency: Yautja are automatically proficient with the combistick, wristblades, throwing disk, and plasma caster.
• Automatic language: Yautja Bonus language: Any.
• Favored Class: Ranger
• LA: +3

I had an idea though a little home brew....it's a half-orc ethergaunt (Fiend Folio). It basically has the appearance and behavior of a Predator only about 6ft. tall, it wears a mask to hide it's visage (though that's because it still drives some insane), it also has a strong, almost overwhelming taste for magic because of its ethergaunt parent as well as a barbaric nature because of it's orc heritage. Therefore a smaller, only partially home brew Predator is created (at least in flavor). Ta-dah! . Also AMGriffin, they're definately large size, the younger ones are just over 7ft. tall!

Keep in mind most of the Predator/Yautja/Hish-qu-Ten's powers comes from their equipment and experience (class levels), they are otherwise somewhat stronger than humans and have some natural armor, and it is believed they come from a high gravity world.

Theres lot's off fannon about them being an honerable society of hunters, but I always saw them as the rednecks of their species, who on weekends kill some lesser critters to feel like big men :P

The comics established them as having an honorable clan-based society that placed alot of emphasis on the hunt to prove their mettle as warriors. They, like the samurai of feudal Japan would rather die then be defeated (hence the self-destruct sequence the one in the first movie activates and in the one in the second move that the predator tries to activate)

Some Predator clans refuse to hunt sentient creatures (such as humans), whilst others really don't give a damn.

As for my homebrew, I really based it off what I saw in the movies, ommitting their stealth and weaponry. I used the bugbear (which is about the same thing as a predator) for reference. Though, keep in mind these things can take a few SHOTGUN BLASTS to the stomach and get right back up.

It might not be a bad idea to add a few little odds and ends to the half-troll template (removing the INT and CHA penalties of course) and call it a Predator.

I edited my write-up a little, I decided to give the Yautja fast healing 1 and a self-sufficient as a bonus feat. I dunno if anybody would consider this "overpowered" but at LA: +3 you're gonna be having trouble keeping up with the other party members anyway.

Yes, the comics
You can pretty much make the preditors however you like, further interations of the series keep amping up their power from the original movie, sorta like how the comics drastically weakened the aliens/xenomorph/invictousraptous from the original movie. The two couldn't even fight eachother otherwise.

From the original movie, a small bonus to strength and other skills from living on a high gravity world, otherwise it's all equipment. The enemies it killed were close to being level five warriors, and arnold around a level 10 fighter, with others in between (though d20 modern is probably a more accurate way to stat them).

Currently they'd be more like +10 bonus to str and smaller bonuses to all other stats, natural armor, nanomachines and what not, most are nearly epic, while their elders are truly epic.

What about a bonus to intimidate if they take off their masks and do that "SCREEEEEEEEEE!" thing?

Also, I wouldnt give them proficiency, more like weapon familiarity.

Bonuses to Str, Con, and Dex would be in order. Mental stats Im not so sure. Sure they have the equipment, but that could just be because they might be older than humanity and thus have a head start, or they could have pilfered an advanced race and "copied" the technology without fully understanding how it works (depending on whether you want them as an old or young race), so that might nix an Intelligence bonus.

Wisdom might be argued to have a boost to it, but Im not so sure. They live in a society of hunters so that could point them toward ranks in survival rather than actual wisdom, and they do seem a little hot blooded (or at least the young ones do to me).

Cha I dont think ever really came into play beyond scaring people, has it?

One could also argue that they'd be more like barbarians than rangers, as most of their ability to hide comes from their equipment, not them themselves (though I could be wrong, its been a long time since Ive seen the original predator).

For the multispectrum vision, you could just give them the "see in darkness" ability of some evil outsiders.

I smell an Alien fanboy. The wimpy marines in Aliens seemed to blow them to pieces relatively easily. :P

All silly joking aside, I based the stats off of the first two movies. I don't really think its unreasonable to say they're as strong as an orc and faster and tougher then humans. The wisdom penalty I'll agree is debateable, but in a society as rough as theirs, do you really think the foolish and wreckless will typically make it?

The creature above is the Astral Stalker, often compared to the Predator.
