Can someone please help me with Hadozee (Stormwrack), Neanderthal (Frostburn), Killoren (Races of Wild), Hellbred (Fiendish Codex II), Raptorans (races of Wild), Asherati (Sandstorm)and Darfellan (Stormwrack)?

I am starting a new campaign and want to open the races a bit. I do not own these books. What I am looking for is A) a little flavor on the races, B) your opinion of them, C) experience with them -- this would be exceptionally helpful for me.

Also feel free to recommend/not recommend any of the above books as well. Thanks again.

You are to wait 48 hours before bumping.

I've never played nor used any of the races, so besides the above word of advice, I have nothing.

Hadozee are back? Cool. I always liked Spelljammer.

Can't help you with most, but Darfellan's are on the website her under Stormwrack excerpts. I like them. Hope that helps a bit.

Thanks. Duly noted and found.

Apparently I asked a stumper of a question. But I will persist.

I played a Raptoran once. He was awesome. They're... they're pretty much elves with wings, I guess. I'd really suggest getting the book. The trick to playing a Raptoran well is to remember that combat is three dimensional. A raptoran always thinks about all THREE axisis (Axi? Axiis?) in a fight.

They're good, but not unbalanced. Flight is just one of those things that's inherently useful and anyone who wants it will find a way to get it.

Since they are in Stormwrack, Hadozee make great second mates on the sea. They get bonuses to skills often used on a ship and have a safety net in case they should fall from the masts with their gliding ability. Live in very close proximity to each other, similar to real apes.

Raptorans are pretty much Humans with flight. Their culture is similar to Elves if I remember correctly.

Darfellan have reduced land speed for their size so are kind of at a disadvatage in any non-aquatic campaign. Other than that they do have a strength bonus and a natural attack. Tribal, persecuted culture.

All the other races I either don't have the books or haven't had enough play time with.

Neanderthals are pretty much as you would expect from the name. They are a variant human (they have human blood for effects that target humans specifically), they are really tall (still medium), strong, tough, dumb and clumsy. Favored class is barbarian, which is fitting because that is their culture as well.
