Races with Darkvision? [Archive] - Wizards Community

I'm drawing up a replacement character in a friend's game. My current character is human, so I'l like something different. What races grant darkvision?

The guidelines.

NO Eberron
Nothing above 5th ECL.

Otherwise, I'm golden!

Any help would be appreciated.

07-30-07, 08:12 AM Centaurs have darkvision, and the level adjustment isn't bad. Plus, they're hung like, uh, horses... so they get all the imaginary chicks. >.>

Another question: the lesser plain-touched (tieflings, genasi) don't have an LA, correct?

Correct, they don't have LA. Players Guide to Faerun, page 190. Many find this broken, like the lesser Aassimar, which is strong as it's normal version.

07-31-07, 02:12 AM I'll put forth my favorite template draconic. It can grant darkvision to any race along with allot of other benefits.
