As-is, his racial abilities reflect those of a normal human, save slightly modified height, weight, and age categories and a lack of physical deterioration with age. However, the fast healing special ability presented piques my interest. Since I believe this is Open Game Content (if not, please delete): Fast Healing 1 (Ex):Grendles regain lost hit points at the rate of 1 per hour. This is just like natural healing and cannot restore hit point loss from starvation, thirst, or suffocation. Although they lack true regeneration, grendles may regrow severed body parts, as long as they were not lost to fire or acid damage. Such limbs regrow after 2d4 days with a successful Fortitude save (DC 20). On a failure, the limb is permanently lost. Since I'm looking to have a caster, any LA is quite unwelcome. I'm wondering if anyone thinks this suitable for inclusion in a feat. If not, how do you believe it could be edited to make it fair for that purpose? (Bear in mind, if this mitigates feelings of overpoweredness at all, that this would be available only to individuals of a certain bloodline, possibly with a certain Constitution score or other abilities.) |

My only concern is the nuisance of keeping track of how much time has elapsed. Otherwise, yeah, it seems okay for a feat. |

If you want to make a PC ability out of it, you'd probably do better to give the character something like Sprint Healing 1 / ( Character Level + Con Modifier ). |
