| jubjubdestroyer08-29-07, 11:34 PM | This appears on threads every where, lets stat his race once and for all!!!!!!!! Please use RedXIII on this thred, I bet you there are idiots on these boards who will get angry by not calling him by his "real" name. -Magical Beast 6HD +4 dex, +4 int, +2 wis -Medium -Fire subtype (half fire elemental if you want, but i'm not sure where it is found) -Base Land Speed 40 ft (quadreped) -Low light vision -Dark vision 60 ft -Natural Cunning (Ex): They possess innate cunning and logical ability. This gives them immunity to maze spells, prevents them from ever becoming lost, and enables them to track enemies. Further, they are never caught flat-footed. -Languages: Sylvan, Can speak with animals -Bonus languages- any -natural armor +2 -Skills/Feats +2 to jump, +2 intimidate, +2 survival checks -Special attacks bite- 1d4, claw- 1d6, Pounce: gets full attack when charging -Favored class: sorcerer -La +3 Racial hit dice give it 3 feats, 2+int for skill points, adult 70(start adventuring) Middle age 700, Old 1100, Venerable 1500 maximum Charisma mod x 5 |
| ericSHINRA08-29-07, 11:49 PM | Ok, then... Just a few things. ~I don't understand why he has the "Fire Subtype". Whatever that is. ~I believe you either have Low-light Vision or Darkvision but not both. ~Why does his Charisma play any role in how long he lives? ~What is his Base Land Speed? ~I'd think he'd have Racial Hit Dice... ~What skill bonuses/feats does he have? |
| jubjubdestroyer08-29-07, 11:58 PM | THIS IS NOT ACTUALLY RED XIII this is his race |
| snakeman83008-30-07, 09:17 AM | Fire subtype- Have you ever looked at his tail? It's kind of on fire. There's nothing wrong with having both darkvision and Low-light vision. Oh, and I think he'd have pounce and natural armor as well. Base land speed and racial HD are important. |
| Lord Karsus08-30-07, 06:43 PM | -I find it funny that the OP is calling people idiots, and yet, there are at least nine spelling/grammar errors in his first two sentences. -Anyway, this is very unbalanced. A +2 LA does not fit this creature. The LA needs to be much higher, or some of the bonuses/special abilities need to be toned down, or removed completely. -And, why do you call them "yenoduchie"? |
| Rogue Shadows08-31-07, 09:42 AM | Please use RedXII THIS IS NOT ACTUALLY RED XIII So is it Red Twelve, or Red Thirteen? I think you're a bit confused, kiddo. Also, starting out by calling people idiots does not leave a good impression. -+2 str, +4 dex, +4 int, +2 wis An overal +12 to stats? -Natural Cunning (Ex): Although yenoduchie are not especially intelligent, they possess innate cunning and logical ability. This gives them immunity to maze spells, prevents them from ever becoming lost, and enables them to track enemies. Further, they are never caught flat-footed. Ah... -natural armor +2 -Skills/Feats +5 to jump, +2 intimidate, +2 survival checks -Special attacks bite- 1d6, claw- 1d6, Pounce 2d6 + str X2 succeful grapple check -Favored class any arcane casting (he was supposed to be used as a caster) Sweet Hallelujah. -La +2 Yeah, right. With all the abilities up there, you're looking at an easy +5 to LA, at minimum. |
| jubjubdestroyer08-31-07, 11:12 AM | Please excuse all grammer/spelling errors I work from 8am - 10pm and thus, I am very tired. I am posting this at 11am because I half to work at 12pm today. Thank you for pointing all this out, I will fix it I call them Yenoduchie because that is another name for them in Navajo |
| Lord Karsus08-31-07, 11:20 AM | I call them Yenoduchie because that is another name for them in Navajo -There is no reason to believe that they are creatures of Navajo myth, however. Red XIII is not a shapeshifter, nor is he cursed. |
| jubjubdestroyer08-31-07, 11:00 PM | You are right, Yenoduchie is anothor thread of mine, why you keep bringing it up here i do not know |
| dfarnsworth09-01-07, 12:44 AM | Because your first post special quality Natural Cunning lists them as the creature you are talking about. David |
| Lord Karsus09-01-07, 09:13 PM | You are right, Yenoduchie is anothor thread of mine, why you keep bringing it up here i do not know -Natural Cunning (Ex): Although yenoduchie are not especially intelligent, they possess innate cunning and logical ability. This gives them immunity to maze spells, prevents them from ever becoming lost, and enables them to track enemies. Further, they are never caught flat-footed. (Emphasis mine) |
| Einvaldurinn_mikli09-01-07, 09:16 PM | With all the abilities up there, you're looking at an easy +5 to LA, at minimum. Not with 6 racial hit dice. Racial hit dice suck. I don't feel like giving a good estimate of the real LA(because frankly this looks like crap) but it's not close to +5. |
| snakeman83009-02-07, 03:46 PM | I love this (read the bolded parts) -Magical Beast 6HD +4 dex, +4 int, +2 wis -Medium -Fire subtype (half fire elemental if you want, but i'm not sure where it is found) -Base Land Speed 40 ft (quadreped) -Low light vision -Dark vision 60 ft -Natural Cunning (Ex): Although yenoduchie are not especially intelligent, they possess innate cunning and logical ability. This gives them immunity to maze spells, prevents them from ever becoming lost, and enables them to track enemies. Further, they are never caught flat-footed. -Languages: Sylvan, Can speak with animals -Bonus languages- any -natural armor +2 -Skills/Feats +2 to jump, +2 intimidate, +2 survival checks -Special attacks bite- 1d4, claw- 1d6, Pounce 2d6 + str X2 succeful grapple check -Favored class: sorcerer -La +4 Racial hit dice give it 3 feats, 6+int for skill points, adult 70(start adventuring) Middle age 700, Old 1100, Venerable 1500 maximum Charisma mod x 5 Oh, and small nitpick. Magical Beasts get 2+Int modifier skill points, not 6+ Int modifier. Class skills would be nice as well. |
| baby_kamikaize_kobold09-04-07, 04:58 PM | I love this (read the bolded parts) I noticed this too.:D |
| jubjubdestroyer09-05-07, 06:00 PM | Thanks guys, I fixed things that were supposed to be fixed (sorry about the yenoduchie. natural cunning I coppied from the entry on minotour as well) Thank you for you're support |
| Lord Karsus09-05-07, 06:35 PM | -Did you know that Nanaki is an anagram for Anakin? |
