Regeneration with low LA [Archive] - Wizards Community

03-29-07, 07:06 PM I'm looking 4 a race with a low Level Adjustment and HD that also have knowledge religion as a class skill.

03-29-07, 07:14 PM Most races with Regeneration will have a medium to high LA simply due to Regeneration's power. I'd say regen 1 alone is a LA 1-2 ability.

Also, Knowledge (religion) isn't likely to be on a racial HD skill list, unless you find an outsider.

03-30-07, 07:26 AM Out of the Monster Manual monster, the lowest you can get with Regeneration is the Troll, with 6 Hit Dice and LA +5.

After that, it's up to the Chain Devil, with 8 HD and LA +6.

It is a regional feat (from Greyhawk) that gives regeneration 1, and requires Toughness. Also, it has some hideous drawbacks, like getting fatigued by sunlight.

take "Feral" template from "Savage Species"
fast healing goes up by the number of hitdice biggest drawback you will probably be very dumb and somewhat clumsy.
