03-07-07, 12:43 AM I have a 10 Gestault Fighter/Psion half-demon character with a major bloodline of Red Dragon. He wants to become a halfblood Yuan-ti instead of being human. How do I do this?

(I am trying to figure out progression due to his traits for bloodline and removing the LA through the rules in UA.)

Being Half-fiend is a +4 LA. You are ECL 14. A Yuan-ti Halfblood is 7 hit dice, with a LA of +5. I'm not sure how progression would with a "monster" class - since this would start at CR 12. You could read this as 2/2 in your stats with the 7 racial dice. I'd have to figure out if the special abilities worked out and just make you 9/9 and have you give up the racial hit dice. 9th level with +5 LA = 14.

03-14-07, 07:35 PM Is there a way I can become a pureblood while still keeping the half-fiend template too?

Also, when the ritual is done that has you go for the target ECL for a monster can you do it at higher levels?
