Natural armor +2 +2 to listen, search and spot checks +4 to intimidate checks 2 1d4 claw and one 1d6 bite attacks Automatic Languages: Common Favored Class: Fighter A three headed four armed humanoid saber tooth/cougar hybrid, the main head being a saber and the two side being cougar, the upper arms and shoulders are massive to support the extra heads, but the lower arms are at or slightly below the ribcage, with the shoulder blades and collar bone clearly visible and helping to support the upper body. The internal bones are slightly slanted for supporting the upper body and back, with all the arms flat at the side, the upper usually fall right to the side of the lower, which in turn rest right next to the side, putting a typical lower hand around the thigh. Due to the location of the arms, they are also referred to as outer and inner arms. All of them look different, normal fur colors being tans, creams and browns, there are how ever reds and reddish browns, mid section fur may or may not be white. White fur coloring is rare, but not something unseen. Due to its rarity, those with a blue fur color get a lot of slack as its only heard of in legend for most and only in a certain family line, said to be of the first Sakrian, it is however, snickered and made fun of behind their back or pity, because it looks so damn silly. Fur texture ranges from extremely coarse to a fine velvet, if the mid section is different, it is almost always softer then the rest of their fur. May or may not have human like hair. Height ranges from a dwarf at 8ft to a giant at 15, with the average height being slightly shorter then 12ft. Weight extremes go from 900lbs to 2,500. Females are generally larger and stronger then the males, which may or may not have anything to do with their society being strictly faithful in marriages. The Sakrians where created with the belief that the heart is where the soul is in the body, due to this creation ideal however, most of the benefit of the heads was lost, coming down to do just a perception bonus as the extra limbs seem to be to much for a single soul to handle at once with out extensive training. Just wanting to see what people besides my gaming group think of this. |
| Thomar_of_Uointer02-20-07, 12:34 AM | Compared to half-giants, they're slightly stronger. They're quadrupeds, right? I'm leaning towards LA +2 due to the combination of natural armor and min-maxxed ability scores. Oh, do they get multiweapon fighting? LA +3 then. |
| CedricBrooks02-20-07, 10:10 AM | They are bipedal, long ago I toyed with them haveing the option of bipedal or quad, but just went Bipedal for simplicity's sake. They can get multiweapon fighting, they'll have to use feats if they want to have that or use more then three natual attacks. |
| obrysii02-20-07, 10:20 AM | How exactly are they not killed-on-sight in most locations? I don't see many commoners welcoming a bipedal, three-headed four-armed tiger creature with open arms. What type are they? |
| CedricBrooks02-20-07, 10:38 AM | They do make better monsters, I think the first concept I had of them along time ago was for a story where there was one, and she used to be a farm girl turned full time wizard tower guard. Never said they wheren't killed on sight, granted, I'd like to see a group of commoners take this even with a NPC class. Never said they'd be welcome in town, hell they proproably wouldn't like it, not like the can fit though the doors. I tryed to leave socieity stuff out and reactions due to people's custom settings, although I seem them as trying to emulate humans seeing their success. Not sure on type, not something I've had a keen grasp on, a type of humanoid for sure though. |
