Searching for Half-lings [Archive] - Wizards Community

I am searching for Half-races and Half-templates, like Half-Ogres, Half-Dragons and Half-Elementals.

Up to now, I've found Half-Ogres, -Dragons, -Fiends, -Celestials, -Elementals, -Golems, -Fey, -Vampires and -Illithids. And of course Half-Orcs and Half-Elves.

I am wondering if there are more. I especially would like to know if there are Half-somethings that have one parent from a Chaotic or Lawful plane, as you have with Half-Celestials and Half-Fiends for good and evil planes. Also, I would like to know if there are Half-Cold Elementals or Half-Wood Elementals or Half-somethings that have one parent hailing from either the Positive or Negative Energy Plane, as well as Half-Shadow Beings, Half-Ethereal Beings or Half-Astral Beings.

Are there any more?

Look under Half-Race section. Should have half-elementals, among some other ones I don't think you listed, IIRC.

04-14-08, 06:02 PM Dragon magazine had a lot of these. Half-any given elemental. Half-djinn, half-minotaur (warning: brokenness), half-doppelganger, etc. Looking in one of the various Dragon Magazine index websites might gather you some more.

04-14-08, 06:20 PM Half-Dealkyr is in one of Eberron books. If you haven't heard of Dealkyrs, just picture a rather Human looking CR20 Aberation with no class levels. (And people say Eberron is a low power setting.) Race LA 0 if I remember
Half-Farspawn is in Lords of Madness. Has an Alternate form of a mass of Tenticles a huge Con boost. LA+4 template.
Half-Giant in the Expanded Psionics Handbook. The other Powerful Build PC race.
Half-Troll in the Fiend Folio. While lacking almost anything cool like Regen it does have Fast Healing if I remember correctly. LA +? Template.
Half-Janni in Sandstrom. Not bad poorly worded. LA+3 Template

By the by, I heard of a Half-Chaotic Being or something like that, like a Chaotic version of the Half-Fiend and -Celestial. I believe it was called a Half-Slaad. Can anyone tell me where to find it? (It surely is not on CrystalKeep.)

04-16-08, 06:30 PM if it doesn't have to be wizards there are numerous half breeds found in third party books. Bastards and Bloodlines - Green Ronin (templates and races),
Advanced Beastiary - GR and many others.
