drunkman 12-19-07, 04:18 PM	Does anyone know the book for siarrans. I found this race somewhere in the web, have it printed out. Can't find the website anymore, but it's a very good race. Does someone here know the book it was from or if it's even LEGAL. I know it is from one because the website I found it from had a "Quote" on top of that, so it must have came from some book. Does anyone know. What they basically are is human-like creatures that are extremely skinny and have 4 arms. I'll tell you the racial traits if that helps. --+2Dex -2Con: Siarrans are very agile and quick, but their thin status makes them more easily hurt. --medium-size: as medium-size creatures, Siarrans have no special bonus or penalty due to their size. --monstrous humanoid: Note: the creature type was not written, but I'm guessing this creature would fit the definition of a monstrous humanoid because it's human like but it has animal/monster-like features (four arms). --weak lower arms: a siarran's lower arms are much thinner than his upper arms and do not benefit from the muscles throughout the torso. As a result, the siarran's lower arms suffer a -2 penalty to strength. --additional feats: Siarrans may select any of the following feats whenever they are allowed to learn a new one: greater multiweapon fighting, improved multiweapon defense, improved multiweapon fighting, multidexterity, multiweapon defense, and multiweapon fighting. --Automatic languages: Siarran, common. Bonus languages: Any (other than secret languages, such as druidic) --Favoured class: Any. When determining whether multiclass siarran suffers an XP penalty, his highest level class does not count. Siarrans pursue a number of skills and professions. They show aptitude in a wide variety of abilities. --Level afjustment: +0 Now here's why I just love this race. Obviously because it has four arms. It goes great with this assassin character I'm making because when I get both a full attack and sneak attack with this four-armed menace, think of how much sneak attack damage the guy would take compared to a two-armed character. Also +0 level adjustmentsfor extra arms (and all the attack from it) is a simple bargin, take it over the 3 ECL thri-kreen any day. I realize that the lower arms take strength penalties but I don't care. I can always take the weapon finese feat which will make the attack rolls go by dexterity instead of strength, eliminating the attack roll penalty for the lower arms taking -2 Strength penalty and all that will exist is a -1 damage penalty in two arms, which doesn't hurt much. My final reason I just love this is it's flexibility. I multi-class a crapload, so I'd like "Any" as my favoured class.
Brehon 12-20-07, 10:16 AM	These are from Dragonstar, a sci-fi/magic hybrid d20 game. I'm pretty sure the game is out of print, but the Siarrans were in the Galactic Races book. You might be able to find a copy somewhere, but it would depend entirely on your GM if they were allowed. Also, Siarrans get +2 Dex, not +2 Str.

i_will_eat_monkeys 04-11-08, 06:09 PM	lucky for you I have made this as a character and i happen to know it is in the Mythic Races page 134. i personally think this is a fun race as a barbarian (that's what mine was) but he died because someone that wasn't me played it so they didn't know how to use it the right way. oh btw the races also has extra feets so you can use all 4 arms. lol:D :D :D
