Silverbrow Human Problem [Archive] - Wizards Community

10-11-07, 09:26 AM I'm working on an NPC for a coming game with a Silverbrow Human Sorcerer, the problem is that the Draconic Heritage feat is far less worthwhile for a Silverbrow Human than any other (Disguise as a double class skill?) and started wondering, would it work to grant the NPC an increased bonus to Disguise with the feat.

10-11-07, 11:16 AM Seems more than fair, houserule that you get skill focus: disguise or something if you already have disguise as a class skill to avoid overlap.:)

10-11-07, 12:29 PM That would work well, it just seemed odd that someone would be penalized for following something that would be thematically appropriate. (It may even be required as a Silverbrow Human to go with the Silver Dragon heritage, but I can't remember at the moment).

10-12-07, 02:20 AM I think it might be more of a design/conceptual oversight, rather than a deliberate attempt to screw the players over.:)

I'd guess as it's only a few pages difference there between the feat and race.

The original character concept was for a Healer type with possible divine ancestry (Possible descendant of Tamara and has the Arcane Disciple for the Healing Domain). I'm using the character in the "quest-giver" role in the campaign when a tribe of friendly kobolds (Once again followers of Tamara) have broken off contact and darkness seems to be gathering around the ancient, underground city that the Kobolds had lived in.
