And we got to wondering if we could create a Build quality that would allow a creature to be treated as if it was one size smaller in terms of advantages. This is what my friend came up with: Slight Build Slight Build lets a creature function in many ways as if he were one size category smaller. Whenever the creature is subject to a size modifier or special size modifier for an opposed check (Hide), he is treated as being one size smaller if doing so is advantageous. The creature is also treated one size smaller when determining special attacks based on size (such as Armor Class bonus, attack bonus). He can still use weapons as a creature of his actual size. So what do you guys think? Is Slight Build workable or not? :embarrass |

Also, in addition to the Hide, AC, and attack bonuses, a character with Slight Build could use Small-sized items such as armor and tools, which weigh 3/4 as much as the same Medium-sized items. An extra 25% carrying capacity, if my math is right (which it probably isn't... ) |

| G_Mancer04-24-07, 02:59 PM | maybe you'll be glad to know that it exists! it's in a racial variant of Kobolds...in Races of Dragon i think. thats what it is, but i could see it applying to goblins or something else like that... though, dont go crazy. jsut cuz it's small doesn't mean it should have small build... i mean... orcs dont have powerful build and they're pretty big. |
