06-03-07, 09:39 AM The first time I saw a Diaboli was in "Dragon #327", and it was the picture on page 62 that made me go 'Wow!' A LA +0 Native Outsider with a natural attack...needless to say it took several tries before I finally managed to find a campaign a DM was playing where I could wheedle/beg/threaten to tell his mother about his collection of pornography/plead him into letting me roll up a Diaboli, and every other player at that table said 'cool tiefling' up until I went and showed them the damn article.

Now, that brings me to a topic that is close to my heart. I want my fellow gamers to bring up other 'minor' races that have appeared in the "Dungeons" and "Dragons" magazines, races they believe have never been used, and to list the number of the mags and the pages these 'minor' races appear on, so that other players and DMs can bring them on home and perhaps breath new life into their games. What will the Paladin do when he finds the city of Tieflings is actually a city of Diaboli? What will the Golem-hating Ranger do when he stumbles across a wounded Golmoid? (Golem-descended race from "Dragon #317")

So, here are my 'Minor' Races I think don't get enough love.

Dragon #327: Diaboli (Benign Chaotic Native Outsiders), page 62-65

Dragon #317: Adu'Jas (Asexual Plant-Race), page 22-25
Dragon #317: Gruwaars (Small Goblin-like Fey), page 25-26
Dragon #317: Golmoids (Sentient Golem-descended race), page 26-28
Dragon #317: Tkels (Reptilian Monstrous Humanoids) page 28-29

Will post more as I find them as I flick through the old mags. Please, post your beloved 'Minor' races and expose them to players who are looking for a touch of the exotic, and to DM's searching for something new to surprise jaded players with.

I just love the catweres but I haven't found a DM willing to let me play one.
