Our DM is planning to set up some Underdark adventures.

Now he wants us to play evil races, most preferable drow, but i want to try something else.

Why not take a whispergnome from Races of stone, add the spellwarped template from MMIII.

So you get a race that has got Darkvision, Spellresistance as the drow and is per definition "cruel and selfish" with some nice buffs in certain abilities.

a LA +3 is not that bad because the drow also got a LA+2

So do you think that would fit? Im Planning to go rogue and in dependence on the Ecl ( we dont know yet wheter were going to start at ECL 5 or a little more) some levels as fighter.

Just found another cool template to add to the stealth abilities:
Dark template from Tome of magic.

Gives another boost to hide and move silently.

unfortunately, currently I'm at an LA of +4....

Why not Dark Shadow Whispergnome? Gives you a "Stealthy Crazy Gnome".

Unfortunately, there is only a CR Adjustment, but none for LA...

so i would guess its LA +2 or even +3

The buff in speed and move silently is nice fast healing 2 and DR, yeah sound really nice.

On the other hand, spellwarped gives SR, spell absorption and a buff to nearly all important ability scores...

well lets see what my DM says...

but thanx 4 the tip...
