Ok so im going to play an ecl 10 character in an evil campaign and my DM has allowed me to use the Vamperic creature template(book of templates 3.5 pg 76) the moonwildling template(also book of templates 3.5 pg 60)

My character's combat style will involve running up and attaching himself to his target and draining blood each round, relying on his improved DR/silver and fast healing to keep him alive. DM is unsure of letting him recieve health for the Con he drains.

Edit: DM jsut ruled i get 2 hp per Con point drained.

so far with just the two main templates iv got only 5 hit dice to play with, and i dont think i wana go any lower, the DR and fast healing are nice but i doubt they will keep him alive with so few HP. What i need is a base race to start with that would work to both these tempaltes strengths. I was thinking maybe a wood elf for the dex and str bonus, but im not sure if the Con hit is realy worth the extra damage. My second choice was maybe the wild elf to get the dex bonus and not a Con hit. Dwarf could also be a viable option.

I would like to see what you guys n gals on the boards think.

Hmmm... human is always good... definitely don't take anything small, that'll reduce your speed. Wood elf seems like a good choice, butif I were you I'd take wild elf over that.

If your going for the strike quick and then draining blood I'd suggest a
monk/shadowdancer combo with an elf as the base creature, the shadowdancer will get you close to the victim while the monk class will let you put in some unarmed strikes to soften them up.

If you don't mind me asking, vampires have a lot of complications tied to them
how are you going to keep track of all those things? Like for example they can't
go into a dwelling uninvited, and I'm pretty sure that most dungeons your going to enter are considered Dwellings, and the boss isn't going to invite you in anytime soon.:thinks:
