| Evilholyguy07-25-07, 05:55 PM | Im makin this thread about New Lycanthrope Ideas. Ill go first Weremole ( yes from courage the cowardly dog :D ) always Medium CE shapechanger HP and abilities are the same as Werewolves Skills: see above Saveing Throws: +3 Fort, +3 Ref, and +2 will AC: 15 ( +5 nat and that 10+ thing on the character sheet) Attacks: Claws +4(1d6+3) or Bite +7(1d8+1) Special abilities: Blind sense, sent ability, and Burrow 60ft Ok now submit your Ideas or PEACH others. :pint: |
| IdleAltruism07-25-07, 06:21 PM | HP and abilities are the same as Werewolves AC: 19 (+9 natural, +5 Dex, + 5 Deflection) Attacks: Claws +4(2d6+3) or Bite +7(1d12) Special abilities: Blind sense, great sense of smell, and Burrow Wow um, wow. 10+ dex 9+ nat ac 5+ deflection? Medium creature with 2d6 claws and 1d12 bite. With the same ECL as a werewolf. By great sense of smell I assume you mean the scent ability. You need to set burrow as a set speed. This is just way to overpowered and really doesn't make any sense. |
| FrostWolf07-25-07, 06:30 PM | The WarMastiff from Heros of Battle would make a good lycanthrope. Tack on the "MageBreed" template to the animal (No LA, gives a bunch of stat boosts) and you have a lycanthrope that makes that +5/+6 not that big of a deal. Also, Psionics are a nice addition toany lycanthrope, as you don't have verbal or somantic components to manafest powers, and alot of the Psychic Warriors powers grant bonuses on claw attacks. EDIT: Magebreed is a template found in Magic of Eberron that can be added to any Animal, and has no LA. |
| Evilholyguy07-25-07, 06:31 PM | Just to let every1 kno: DO NOT USE THE WEREMOLE!!!! IT IS JUST AN EXAMPLE!!!! |
| Hanzo18707-25-07, 07:40 PM | In my sig, you can find my Demi-Thrope. It's a half-Human, half-Werewolf. Basically, he gets scent at 1st, a transformation at 5th, among other things. I've playtested one, if it interests you. It's below. Name: Okami Demi-Thrope Ninja 1 Alignment: N Med. Humanoid w/ Shapechanger subtype Init: +4 Senses: Scent Immune: Lycanthropy Languages: Common, Abyssal, Sylvan Speed: 30 ft. HP: 8 (1 HD) Weapons: Ninja-To (Short Sword), Tanto (dagger), Nunchaku, Short Bow Equipment: Pouch belt w/ flint and steel, 1 smokestick, and caltrops, thieves' tools, waterskin, quiver of 20 arrows Abilities: Str 11 Dex 19 Con 15 Int 13 Wis 16 Cha 7 AC: 17 Touch AC: 17 Flat-Footed AC: 13 BAB: +0 Grp: +0 Feats: Combat Reflexes SQ: Ki Power (4 uses), Trapfinding, Sudden Strike +1d6 Saving Throws Fort: +2 Ref: +6 Will: +3 (+5 when Ki Power isn't empty) I'm currently using this guy, with good results. |

Hybrid Form: Statue (may not attack in hybrid form) ... Were-wear You may assume the form of mundane clothing. |
| Evilholyguy07-26-07, 03:30 PM | Were-woman "Dude looks like a lady." On full moon nights, you turn into a woman. A highly stressed out, hormonal lady. Alignment: Always Chaotic Neutral, probably cranky. Attacks: 2 Claw (1d1 + 1/2 str) and a bite (1d2 + str) Hybrid form: OH NOES! ... this might actually be crazy enough to work  I would really be scared of this monster!!!! |
| EvilVegan07-26-07, 04:21 PM | As well you should be. I'd recommend steering clear of were-women for at least a week out of every month (the few days before and after the full moon, of course!). |
| Evilholyguy08-15-07, 10:01 PM | :headexplo isnt this thread closed yet?! |
| penchant08-15-07, 10:25 PM | Were Platypus. Schizophrenic and poisonous. Were-man. by the light of the full moon you turn into yourself. Were-Daisy. Gain the plant type, but lose all mobility and coherent thought. Were-chihuahua. Pee or shake. Pick one. |
| rbodine08-16-07, 12:55 AM | Were-Nerd. A were-nerd spends its days sleeping and its nights surfing the Internet. They are generally found in solitude. No one knows how they repopulate, but the suspicion is that it's asexual. Str 2, Dex 2, Con 4, Int 17, Wis 6, Cha -2 AC: 4 Atks: 1d1-1 (b-slap) SA: Annoyance, Breath Weapon, Feign Comprehend Languages, Exhaustion Prone, Hideous Stench, Induce Laughter Annoyance (Ex): You have a penchant for annoying people. Anyone engaged in a conversation with you must make a DC 14 Will save or fall asleep. This effect applies even to races otherwise immune to sleep effects. The save DC is dork-based. Breath Weapon (Ex): A were-nerd's breath weapon is a cone of bologna and Mountain Dew. Any character hit with the breath weapon can never forget it. Exhaustion Prone (Ex): Any were-nerd exerting any physical force, including an attack, is immediately exhausted. Feign Comprehend Languages (Ex): A were-nerd pretends to know what 4DVENTURE means, but really doesn't have a clue. Hideous Stench (Ex): If a were-nerd doesn't get wet for two days, a foul stench emanates from its various cracks and crevices. Anyone within 60' of a were-nerd must make a DC 14 Fort save or become nauseated. The save DC is loser-based. Induce Laughter (Ex): If a were-nerd engages in combat, anyone within 60’ must make a DC 22 Will save or burst into laughter as if under the effect of a Tasha’s Hideous Laughter spell. The save DC is geek-based. Were-nerds as PCs: Were-nerds may take levels only in the Commoner class. A were-nerd has a -4 Level Adjustment. |
| ShanxAlot08-20-07, 09:24 PM | By the scale Mole's are a Tiny creature at best(assuming best is on the larger side and even then that's a pretty hefty mole) so the best you could have is a Small Hybrid meaning Bite +7(1D4), Claw +7 (1D3) [Per MM1 P296] A Mole's skin is not +5, +1-3 at best [Per MM1 298] Being Small would also mean they'd get the 1/2 a D6(...just use a D3) Burrow 60ft is also a bit of a Stretch, as a small Quadraped 50ft is considered a Fast speed and since that's in relation to general run speed Burrow should be slower by at least a notch, 40ft is still pretty good for a Small/Tiny Creature. Went kinda rule lawyer on ya but I've spent so much time with the Lycan template I don't like seeing the rule's disregarded. |
| Lord_Of_The_Abyss08-21-07, 10:59 AM | Ya know, i've always wanted to try a were-Cave Tyrannosaurus (MH) as a PC but i have no clue what it would have, could someone help:D ? P.S. the were-nerd (everything that was said such as the breath weapon, i could actually picture smelling.....i'll never forget it :yuck: :dancin: ) also the were-woman quote and the whole "in the light of the full moon you turn into yourself" thing for the were-man was hilarious! :heehee .......what are you when there is no full moon  |
| baby_kamikaize_kobold08-21-07, 11:45 AM | What about a were-wombat from retarded animal babies? |
| LeuktheSavior08-21-07, 03:57 PM | the MM explains how to make any animal into a were-creature. to determine its abilities, subtract ten from all even numbers, and subtract 11 from all odd numbers. the remaining ability score is what you add to your base stats when you shift. you retain all abilities, feats, hit die, and base saves, as well as the base attack bonus for that creature. if you are an atural lycanthrope you have a +3 la, and if you are afflicted you have a +2 la. |
| zook1shoe66608-21-07, 04:35 PM | Were-woman "Dude looks like a lady." ROFLMAO!!!! umm... Were-dingo Were-sawfish Were-gila monster Were-hedgehog Were-"Nature's Chainsaw" aka... spotted-tailed quoll (sp?) EDIT: forgot Were-chameleon |
| Istaran08-21-07, 05:23 PM | Were-Waldo While in hybrid or animal form you have +10 racial bonus to hide (+20 in an urban setting) and hide in plain sight. You must hide at all times while in either of these forms. |
| reaper508108-23-07, 12:28 PM | Were-Kitten Diminutive shapechanger on nights of the full moon, the afflicted turns into a sadistic, evil kitten who prowls the streets looking for drunken hobos who it can urinate upon.:plotting: :evillaugh :heehee |
| Waldo_di08-24-07, 11:23 AM | Were-Crocodile Were-Sunscreen (or you'll get burned) and the Were-Car |
