I have seen Improved Low-Light Vision in the MM, which grants 4x human vision in low-light situations and mostly aquatic creatures have it, but never seen Superior Low-Light Vision.
Thomar_of_Uointer 03-29-07, 02:02 AM	Superior Low-light Vision and is a unique ability, not described in the chapter on common abilities in the Monster Manual. Each creature that has the ability describes it and its effects for itself. It typically allows the creature to see three or four times as far in poor illumination (rather than the normal double for low-light vision). http://www.d20srd.org/srd/monsters/owlGiant.htm
