Aleolus 11-19-07, 01:48 AM	OK, I did the Kitsune a while back, so here's their counterparts, the Tanuki, raccoons! Medium Ousiders +4 Con, +2 Wis, -2 Int, -2 Dex, -2 Cha 20 foot move speed. However, a Tanuki's move speed is not reduced by wearing heavy armor or carrying a heavy load. Polymorph Self at will. Just like their Kitsune counterparts, Tanuki are masters of transformation, and have more varied forms and possibilities than Kitsune can. They can use Polymorph Self as a Spell-Like ability, at will, except that the duration is changed to concentration. LA: +2
Qube 11-19-07, 11:10 AM	make it quicken disguise self at will: much more fun and more balanced or possibly 1/day per HD change into a favorite form (IIRC those immovable stone statues :D )

They look like a +2 LA race right now. or possibly 1/day per HD change into a favorite form (IIRC those immovable stone statues ) That's prolly a good idea, especially with those dang polymorphing loopholes :P

Aleolus 03-24-08, 02:48 PM	Hmm, perhaps a Wisdom bonus, and Dex penalty? The Tanuki I am familiar with are wiley, but are not exceptionally intelligent, nor very nimble.
