05-08-07, 03:43 AM A template which grants: Timeless Body, No maximun Age; Poison, disease, ability drain, ability damage and Energy drain inmunities; the template can only be applied to human ( not Humanoids, just humans) how high will be the LA?

+1?+2?

I trying to make a template that makes the guy a challenge without costing to much LA, so it can make a decent caster.

So... your basically asking to be undead? Which the Necropolitan template can give you for *gasp* +0 LA ;)

05-08-07, 12:00 PM +2 seems reasonable, considering that you've got a crop of relatively minor immunities and an effective +3 to all mental ability scores.

05-08-07, 06:53 PM To my knowledge there's nothing already made...but everything you listed is covered under undead... but hey, you can get a lot of that by investing levels in Paladin, Monk, and Druid... but other than that...

You should talk to your DM and both of you work out something you can live with...maybe a god of the Humans bestows a blessing on the most promising of his children.

05-08-07, 08:15 PM You may as well just make a race called "Better then you" humans. If it can't be applied to anything but humans, then just make it the traits for a race.

I'll go with +1 LA (heavy) and +1 CR.

Timeless Body and no age maximum are not worth anything really. They're more fluff/flavor oriented.

The rest of the immunities are nice, but a majority of them may never even see play in a normal game.

It really depends on the game you are playing in... in my games we fight undead who had out ability damage and go up against spell casters that can hit you with poison or abaility drain. Oh and don't forget about assassins, they use poison don't they...?

+3 for that template

Ability Drain/Damage are the two most frequent ones that see play in my experience. Even at that, campaigns differ greatly.

Again, it's not even worth a full +2 LA.

Warforged get all that except timeless body with +0.

Of couse warforged have drawbacks. Maybe you could do the same.
