YamiShinobi 11-09-07, 06:15 AM	an inherited template for existing characters, specifically humanoid females who have the blood of the cat god running down thier veins Template name: Nekogami (type, inherited) (god blooded) Requirements, female gender, race is humanoid, fey or outsider benefits of template +2 dex +2 int, nekogami are smarter and more agile than the norm for their race, this stacks with racial mods Speed+10 feet, nekogami are faster than the norm for their race uses intellegence as their key ability instead of charisma or wisdom for spellcasting and psionics, ( learning spell int = 10+ spell level, bonus spels and dc are based of intellegence) eternal youth, when one realizes even a sample this template, they cannot age any father, if equivelent to 17 or older in human years, recalculate age to 3/4 age or 14 years, whichever is younger, a nekogami does not die of old age, nor is their a midddle aged, old or venerable category Arcane health, a nekogami is not affected by any poison or illness, even magical or supernatural ones type change, type changes to outsider (native) +4 racial bonus on the following checks, hide, move silently, tumble, listen, spot and search bonu feats, weapon finesse, a nekogami's weapon finesse applies to both attack rolls and damage rolls with any light or one hand melee weapon light armor mastery, when wearing light armor, carrying a light shield or holding a light weapon, do not apply maximum dexterity bonus, arcane failure, armor check penalty or weight for these pieces. favored classes, rogue, this replaces the original favored class reduced level ladjustment, same as base race weapon proficiency, in addition to the norm, a nekogami is proficient with the weapons and armor of a rogue ac bonus, if wearing light or no armor, or carrying light shield or no shield, or any combination of the two, add intellegence modifier to armor class as a deflection bonus childish cuteness, a nekogami retains a sense of childish cuteness (this does not affect more than description) spell like abilities, at will, mage hand, predestignation, 10/day magic missle, silent image, cats grace familiar options if taking wizard or sorcerer class or any familiar granting class, these are familiar options Lion +3 on intimidate checks and +2 on will saves Panther+ 3 on move silently and hide checks Tiger +3 on fortitude saves and strength checks one with this template was born with it, they are the cat god's avatars as well as his children, all of which appear an average of 3/4-9/10 adult age of their race, or in the case of humans, a little over half their adult age. age does not apply to them, they are the product of the cat god and a humanoid female. they appear perfectly human, but feature catlike curiousity and mischief as well as feline playfulness, most train in stealth, and have innate magical powers bonus racial language, feline

Spells like a sorcerer of its HD, enormous amounts of skill points, and so on.... it gets all kinds of good stuff from diffrent clases wihout having class levels in that class.. it would never be playable with that amount of powers, it would have a epic LA for all those special powers...

Spells like a sorcerer of its HD, enormous amounts of skill points, and so on.... it gets all kinds of good stuff from diffrent clases wihout having class levels in that class.. it would never be playable with that amount of powers, it would have a epic LA for all those special powers... you're not kidding, can someone run this thing through YabbatheWhat's FeaturePoints thing? i bet it would land around...50,000FP or so :shocked: :OMG! i'd say this is about...+14 LA or so.
Silverclaw 11-10-07, 07:36 AM	If not higher... and that is where 2 problems come up: 1: it cannot be played before epic levels 2: because of that high LA it would have a wery low amounts of class levels, and therefore wery few HP and extraordinarily low BAB and all those powers depending on the HD would not be that effektive... so either it is going to be ekstremely overpowered or ekstremely underpowered, all depending on the level... my advice would be to take away some of the abilities to make it more balanceable, especialy those abilities who gives abilities from other clases (spellcasting, reflex save, skill points, and so on...) it is too much to put into a race...
YamiShinobi 11-10-07, 05:10 PM	it's intended as a god blooded template, so it is a little overpowered nekojin/aka nekogami (cat god of oriental/egyptain hybrid mythology, more oriental) patron of cats, feline creatures, thieves, assassination, death, life, curiosity, jungle and froest felines (such as panthers, cougars, lions, tigers, rakassas etc)
Bahumut 11-11-07, 06:01 AM	for all the things they get, you may as well have just made a race...the difference between a human nekogami and an elf nekogami is so miniscule that the race is negligible. plus, if there are a ton of these running around in your world, i pray to the cat god that most of them are good! just a thought.
