05-11-07, 01:07 AM Is there any extra Level Adjustment for putting Templates on top of other Templates or monster races? If so, what's the rule for the LA?

You have tons of special abilities, but ultimately only a few HD, which translates to very little hp for your ECL. There is no point being so powerful if you are so fragile that you fall the moment someone sneezes on you.;)

unless of course you got spell immunity, a good AC and DR 200/-.

no, serriously:
half dragon: a LA+3 template;
stony: a LA+1 template;

a stony half dragon level 1 fighter: ECL 5

05-11-07, 11:25 AM they def. stack, thats how i got a ECL 20 Hulking Hurler that can deal like 200,000,000,000d6, by throwing a moon-sized rock at someone. :D

2 things about that:
(1) how can you lift that? (+ aren't most moonsize rocks stuck on the continent you are standing on?)
(2) As DM I'dd rule thats more like an area effect (with its radius bigger then you maximum range :schemes: )

actually i looked at the char... and it was about 2,000,000,000,000,000d6+x2 str. oh and the hulking hurler can have that area attack ability.

back to the question. like we've said all the LA and CR increases stack and all the abilities do, unless they are the same ability... such as DR or resistances. then you take the better ability.

too high an LA can really suck since you do NOT get Hit Dice for those "levels" and so no matter what your Con bonus is... your hit points suck badly.
